Alfred Glover, Jr Obituary

Alfred Arthur Glover Jr. was born on September 23, 1970, to his late father, Alfred Arthur Glover Sr., who passed away in May 2006, and his mother, Alice Elizabeth Jordan-Glover. He went to school in the Philadelphia School District, where he was well-liked and made many friends. His teachers often praised him for his enthusiasm and willingness to help others. As he progressed through his education, he discovered a passion for hands-on work, particularly in the fields of plumbing and electrical systems. After graduating, he decided to pursue a career in these trades. He enrolled in vocational training programs, where he honed his skills and gained practical experience. His dedication and hard work paid off, and he eventually became a licensed plumber and electrician. He eventually joined the Abraham Grand Lodge as a mason and was cherished by all his fellow brothers. Alfred Jr had a remarkable sense of humor that brought smiles and laughter to countless faces, particularly when he playfully exclaimed his favorite word, "MERCY." He was a fantastic dancer, much like his father, Alfred Sr., and he enjoyed dancing and singing throughout the night. Alfred was also very close to his mother, Alice, and they spent countless hours together. On the afternoon of December 18th, 2024, angels were sent by God to guide him home. Alfred Jr. is survived by his mother, Alice Glover, and three sisters, Louise Jordan, Tania Richie, and Candice Glover, who will cherish his memory. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Tigger, who was like a child to him. Additionally, he is remembered by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones. In heaven, Junior will be reunited with his brother, Charles Jordan, his sister, Miriam Glover, and his father, Alfred Sr. Glover.
