Ann M. Shalaby

Ann M. Shalaby of Philadelphia passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she spent most of her life in New Jersey. She attended the Toms River school system and graduated from Toms River High School North in 1979. She moved to Philadelphia in 2022.

Ann was predeceased by her mother Margaret V. Kearney, father William R. Ward and brother John J. Kearney.

She leaves behind to mourn her loss her siblings Maggie Cangelosi (Joe) of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, Lorraine Trippenara of Point Pleasant Boro, NJ, Richard Ward (Chris) of Wilmington, NC, Karen Lenart (Bruce) of Birmingham, AL, Susan Jordan (Ray) of Philadelphia, PA, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ann will be remembered by all for her warm smile, big heart, her quick wit, her laughter and her love for family and friends.

Private services and burial were at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.

Ann’s family extends heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and condolences during this difficult time.
