Arthur C. Bell

Arthur C. Bell, also known as (Knot) was born on October 25, 1930 to the late William Bell and Odessa Bell(Bonner) in Everetts North Carolina. He was educated in the North Carolina School District and later joined his Mother and step father the late Joseph Bonner  in Philadelphia PA.

           In 1956 Arthur joined the United States Army where he served as Active Duty from 1956-1958. He then worked as an Army Supplier at the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot for many years until his retirement. Once retired Authur would keep himself busy by working at Laurel Hill West cemetery and being with friends and family.

             Arthur was a loving Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He always did his best to take care of his siblings, and though he had no biological children he treated all his nieces and nephews as his own. Arthur was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

            He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers Larry Bonner, Harold Bell and Eric Bell. Two brothers preceding him in death, Dallas Bell and Roger Bell. Seven Sister Barbara Green, Mary Wallace, Delores Davis, Rosa Hillian, Bertha Bell Lee, Alice Bell, Mashantuck Bell. Nine Sisters preceding him in death Ester Keel, Janie Bonner, Ophalie Bennet, Nodie-bell Rhodes, Gloria Bryant, Waverly Bell, Lorraine Bishop, Linda Bell and Shirley Bell. Host of Nieces Nephews and great nieces and nephews family and friends.
