Billy Frank Marsh

Billy Frank Marsh was born.
June 5th 1948.
To the late Demosh Marsh Sr. & the late Fleeta Marie Fox. As Billy would say "I come out the woods", those woods were located somewhere in the Chatham County area of North Carolina. Billy's education took place in those very same woods where he learned to live off the fat of land raising, growing and hunting for his own food. Billy and his older brother the late Demosh Marsh Jr. helped there father run thriving lumber and moonshine businesses. Big Demosh as their father was called was well respected and feared in them there parts. Billy Frank was about 16 years old when he relocated with his mother to Camden NJ and soon after he met the woman that would become his first wife Katherine Bluford, from this union 3 male children were born Kevin Marsh (Paula) of Sicklerville NJ, Jamison Marsh (deceased) and Richard Marsh (Lisa) of Pitman NJ. Billy entered into a civil union with the late Hope Brittingham in the late 70s and from this union a female child was born Ryan Stephanie Brittingham of Camden NJ. He also gained 2 bonus children Floyd Brittingham of Philadelphia PA and Timothy Brittingham (deceased). Billy Frank married a second time in 2012 to Irene Hughes Marsh and he gained 3 bonus children Irene (pumpkin) Hughes, Nicole Utley (deceased) and William Utley. Billy loved everyone and he had a special fondness for those who called him Uncle Bill specifically his bonus kids the Headens : Gaston, Demosh, Fleeta, Michael (deceased), Emma and all their offspring. Left to cherish his memory are 1 brother Richard Dowdy of North Carolina, 11 grandchildren 8 great grand and many cousins and friends. Many folks would say Billy was the hardest working man they knew aside from all of the heavy labor jobs he had he would never walk pass a coin if was on the ground or even an aluminum can because it was worth money he continued working hard cutting people's lawns and cleaning yards long after his retirement from Camden Iron in 2020. After retirement he could be found enjoying a Fosters on his front stoop and telling his kids about his up bringing we've all heard the stories about "Ant Ginia" who really believed to spare the rod was to spoil the child Billy said " she tied fire to your hind parts". Everyone who knew Billy loved him. This world was a better place because he was in it, but to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Rest in paradise Billy Frank Marsh until we all see each other again.
