On May 17, 1963, Byron Lee Fersner was born to Rose Lee Fersner and Herbert Jones. Both preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Sophie, and his brother, Herbert Fersner.
Byron was educated in the Philadelphia Public School system. He also studied at LaSalle University, Class of 1985.
Byron worked at Kaiserman JCC in Wynnewood as a building supervisor from January 22, 2007, until he departed this world on February 3, 2024.
As a youth and teenager, he attended Rome Emanuel Baptist Church with his mother and brother.
Byron, like his brother, had an infectious smile. He would make everyone he met laugh and love him. He enjoyed fishing but most of all, he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan; and he let everyone know it no matter where he went. Byron also loved writing poetry and he was the type of person who would do anything for anyone who needed him, without hesitation.
Byron is survived by his cousin, Prentiss Pope (Jamie) and his basketball friends of the Old Gold Basketball League.
