Carla Bryant, resident of Philadelphia, PA, born April 27, 1971, in Aliquippa, PA, age 54, went to be with her heavenly father on August 14, 2025.
Carla is survived by her 2 children, son, Darian Bryant, Philadelphia, PA, and daughter, Brianna Bryant, Philadelphia, PA. Her Mother : Patricia Walker, Aliquippa, Pa. Closely bonded Sister: Stacy L. Boxley, Wilmington, DE, and Sisters: Denise Arnold and Sandra Walker-Gilbert, both of Aliquippa, PA. Closely bonded Niece and Nephew, Tiffany Sims and Michael Boxley, Jr. Nieces and Nephews: Janashia Walker, Quincy Walker, Danielle Walker, Domenique Arnold, Tia Gilbert, Rafel Norman, Ashley Brooks, Michelle Walker, Wamecca Arnold, and Joe Arnold. Theresa Sims beloved cousin, Gandhi beloved fur-baby, and a large host of additional loving cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Father Robert L. Sims, and Mother Peggy J Sims, sister, Jean Walker, nephew Carrell Gilbert, and Aunt Clara Walker
She was born in Aliquippa, PA, on April 27, 1971 to Robert L Sims and Peggy J Sims. She later moved to Philadelphia after Graduating from Hopewell Sr. High in 1989. She attended Pierce College in Philadelphia and graduated with an Associate's Degree in 1991. She received her bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Chestnut Hill College in 2007. She established an honored career in Human Resource Management and followed a career path that led to many professional accomplishments and achievements.
Carla was fun-loving, the life of the party & always made you laugh with her sharp remarks.
She was most proud of her 2 children Darian and Brianna and took pleasure in the special bond shared with them both. She also truly loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed traveling in and out of the country with her family, to the Caribbean, Mexico, Belize, and Jamaica. She enjoyed crafting personalized gift baskets for family and friends. As well, She always kept a strong bond with her dear friends from both Aliquippa and Philadelphia.
She was a member of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church and would look forward to visiting Seeds of Greatness church, in Wilmington DE, with friends. Carla was filled with gratitude, and love and she honored everything she had achieved in life, each as gifts heaven sent.
