Clifford W. William’s Life Story
Clifford was born on July 28, 1946 to John and Naomi Williams in Philadelphia, PA. He was the 10th of 13 children.
Clifford attended Simon Gratz High School, and subsequently joined the United States Army, where he ranked as a Sergeant.
Upon his discharge from the military and his return to the United States, Clifford worked various jobs producing materials and goods. He was a master plumbing, a master electrician and truly a “Jack-of-all-trades”.
Clifford adored his family. There was absolutely nothing he would not do for any of them. As soon as he received a call for help, he was right there. If that meant needing a place to stay or a hot meal, Clifford was that man. He was a man of the people, no matter where society’s standards placed them. He believed everyone was important.
Clifford is the father of four children, whom he loved dearly: Joy, Lisa, Katrina and Clifford (Buck).
In 1998, Clifford married Shawn Hagans, and they lived together for 24 years through sickness and health.
On June 15, 2022, Clifford departed this life, leaving to honor his memory his wife, Shawn, his children, Joy, Lisa, Katrina and Clifford (Buck), his grandchildren, Ashley, Terrence, Douglas (deceased), Dylan, Selena, Willie, Raymond, Lisa, Kaliaf, Latoya, Khalil, Alicia, Aimeen (deceased), Tranika, Terrell, Dennell, London, Khalia and Tiana, his step-children, Cameron and Christian, his step-grandchildren, Chance, Joshua, Madison, Sebastian, Christian, Jr, and Tito, his surviving siblings, Glorious, Leonard, Rosalie, Melvin, Carol and Judy, sister-laws Karen, Charlene and a host of other family and friends.
Clifford will be missed in body…but his spirit remains.
