Dannetta Starling was born on April 25, 1958 to the late Julius and Ellis Starling in Philadelphia, Pa. On February 23, 2024, our angel received her wings. DeeDee was one of the most affectionate, loving, heart warming person you could ever meet! She always had a listening ear and shoulder to anyone who needed it. Dee Dee had an open heart and door she will take in anyone as her own feed you clothe you and love you unconditionally, she was our super woman. Dannetta attended Germantown High School, then she later became employed as a housekeeper at Arthur Jackson Cleaning Company and also a cook at Central Boarding Home, where she worked for several years. The work didn’t end there Dannetta became self employed, she started own cleaning business and her customers loved her and the excellent work she provided. DeeDee loved family gatherings, cooking, and quality time with her grandchildren. Although she had many hobbies, she found real joy in cleaning and taking care of others.
Dannetta was preceded in death by both parents, Julius and Ellis Starling, her son Kyle Starling, two sisters Cynthia and Shirl, three brothers Louis, Amos, and Otis. DeeDee also leaves her precious memories with her seven children Traffenia, Ryan, Dannettria, Anika, Lakisha, Basim, and Keyon; Following her sister Geneva Walker and brother Duane Starling, Her husband Eric Brown, and a long time friend James Reynolds, twenty-two (22) grands, six (6) great grands, a host of god children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
