Heaven gained an angel. On Wednesday, August 11, 2021 my loving mother Diane Jackson, passed away at the age of 71. My mother was a devoted, loving person with a “heart of gold”. Diane was born on September 26, 1949, to the late Nathan and Rose Jackson in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Sulzberger School and Williamstown Highschool. While living in New Jersey she met William Cook Jr., they had a daughter Felicia. Later Diane moved back to Philadelphia, PA where she worked various jobs before retiring from University of Pennsylvania College after over 30 years. She loved to cook for family and friends because it brought joy to her to see people enjoying her food. She was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed her. Diane gave her life to Christ while attending Church of GodNon-Sectarian under Elder Jordan Sr., later she rededicated her life to Christ at Christian Chapel of Philadelphia under the presiding Pastor Charles F. Best. She often spent time praying for family and friends while enjoying her worship time with the Lord. Diane shared her wisdom and faith with anyone willing to listen. She leaves to mourn: one daughter, Felicia Jackson; two brothers, Edward Lane and Robert Fullard III; one sister, Sheila Jackson; three grandchildren, Deshira Holman, Zhane’ Holman and Myles Holman; one grandson-in-law, Nicandro Newsom; three great- grandchildren, Seth Holman, Nicandro Z. Newsom and Maverick Newsom; one aunt, Margaret Wilson; and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends
