Frank "Frank Nitty" James Wright

On March 9th, 2022, our beloved, Frank James Wright (Frank Nitty) was transitioned from this life into eternal rest and victory with our Lord, Jesus Christ.  He was born July 2nd, 1939 in Camden Hospital in New Jersey to the late Florence Wright and William Carter – however, Frank was raised by his Uncle and Aunt John and Helen Wright in Philadelphia, PA.

Frank Wright, was educated in the Philadelphia school system and graduated from Northeast High School in 1955.

Frank Wright, became a member of Upper Room Missionary Baptist Church in 2015.  He works for the City of Philadelphia for years and he retired after working for Tony DePaul Construction Company.

Frank Wright, was one of the original members of O. V. Catto Lodge #20 since 1980.  He was an honoree member of O. V. Catto Lodge #20 on April 8th, 2006 and then he became a lifetime member of O. V. Catto Lodge #20 in 2013.  He was a member of Shining Light Council #7 and then moving forward he received his Past State President Honors and Past Grand Exhaler Ruler Honors.  Honoree member of the Twister Motorcycle Club 2019.

Frank Wright, was a jack of all trades and with an array of skills and was always willing to help anyone if he could – he love all types of music especially jazz – singing – dancing – traveling and sports.

Frank Wright, leaves to cherish his memories for the distant days ahead – his lifetime companion for 20 years Antoinette Barnes-Gooden – his daughters - Gwen (James) – Beverly – Suzanne (Roosevelt) – Simone (Malik) – Terry – Michelle – Tasha (Scott) – Eloise and Donella (Dee) – his sons - Jaylen (Patricia Wright) – Kabiyan – Harry and Lamont – Bonus son-in-law Anthony (Tony) Keyes – Godson Kyshawn Nasir Parker-Wilson Jr. (aka KJ) – Grandsons Hank (Yolonda) – Kenard (Makeba) – Damian (Shawnice) and Karim – Granddaughters Charheme – Apolloinn – Kiesha and Doris Hatchett – 25 Great Grandchildren’s and 24 Great Great Grandchildren’s – 2 Sisters Vanessa Newton and Brenda Carter – 1 Brother Darnell Hill
