In Loving Memory of Glen
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Glen Allen Brown, on January 11th, 2025 at the age of 59.
Born to the late Joseph and Elaine Brown on October 8,1965, in Brooklyn, New York, Glen was a man whose life was marked by his deep love for family, unwavering kindness, and a spirit that always sought to minister to others. As a devoted husband to Sharon Brown for 37 years, and a loving father to Nicole, Glenn Jr, Jeremiah, and step-son Earl, as well as a cherished brother, uncle, cousin, and grandfather, his love and support were the foundation of their lives. His children were his pride and joy, and his greatest desire was always to be a source of guidance, strength, and joy for them.
A man of great integrity, Glen lived a life of purpose, deeply invested in his community, and always willing to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement to those around him. Whether through his career as a bus operator, or his passion to minister the word of God, he consistently demonstrated the importance of prayer, compassion, and hard work.
His gentle spirit, generous heart, and sense of humor were gifts to all who knew him. His unwavering faith in God’s plan gave him peace, even in difficult times, and he lived with a constant hope in the promise of eternal life. He often spoke of his trust in God’s grace, reminding us that we are never alone in our struggles and that God's love is everlasting.
Above all, Glen was a man who cherished the relationships he had. His legacy is one of love, generosity, and a commitment to making the world around him a better place. He leaves behind not only his family but also countless friends whose lives he touched with his warmth and generosity.
Though Glen is no longer with us in body, his spirit will forever live on in the love he shared, the wisdom he imparted, and the cherished memories we hold close. As we carry his legacy forward, our hearts are filled with gratitude, knowing that his life was a testament to God’s grace and love. We find comfort in the promise that, though he is gone from this earth, we will be reunited with him in His eternal kingdom.
