Jeanette D. Jones

Jeanette Darnice Jones, 42, our beloved family and dear friend passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.

Born on February 28, 1984, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved daughter of Rudy Parker and preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jones.

Jeanette grew up in North Philadelphia and found herself working various positions early on. With a passion for helping people, she spent time in home healthcare, various positions in retail, and her extreme passion as a licensed Certified Chef.

More than just a fun‑loving, great person, Jeanette was the shining light in all our lives. She will be remembered for her short attitude, her caring heart, and the way she always showed up for the people she loved. She found joy in singing, dancing, skating, painting, and embracing her new role as a grandmother. The love she displayed for those deserving will continue to live on in our memories and in the stories we share.

She is survived by her three brothers, Dorian, Jamal, and Sidney. Two sisters, Veronica and Lenyea. Two children, Shamar and Danielle. Her Father, Rudy Parker, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins’ nieces & nephews, and one grandchild, Sahari. Jeanette was preceded in death by her son, Raekwon Jones and aforementioned mother, Mary Jones.
