Katherine Priscilla Coles was born to Thomas and Melvina Coles on February 20th, 1957 in Chatham Virginia. Katherine would be the fifth and last child born of this marital union between Thomas and Melvina. Katherine attended school in Chatham Virginia until the family relocated to Philadelphia Pennsylvania where Katherine attended William Penn High School and graduated in June of 1975. Around that time, Katherine met her future husband Robert Still Sr. In January 1977 they welcomed their first child Robert Still Jr. and on October 29th 1977 they wed at Evangelical Baptist Church in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Then, in July 1978, they welcomed their second child Gwendolyn Still while living in North Carolina. Katherine and her family relocated to Camden New Jersey where she was a working mother of two. Katherine rededicated herself and her children to church becoming a member of New Greater Deborah Baptist Church in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Following years of faithfulness and serving in many capacities within the church, Katherine received and welcomed the call from God to become an Evangelist over twenty years ago. She served in the ministry under the leadership of Pastor James Brice at New Greater Deborah Baptist Church. After years of employment Katherine settled into a career as a licensed Life Insurance Agent for Colonial Penn in 2010. On March 6th 2022, Katherine joined her parents Thomas and Melvina Coles and three other siblings Harold Coles, Leon Coles, and Kenneth Wayne Coles in God's resting place. Katherine is survived by her two children Gwendolyn Still and Robert Still Jr., seven grandchildren Jasmine Still, Dajia Still, Sayvon Still, Gavin Still, Londyn Still, Christopher Still, and Zachary Still, and one great grandchild Jace Still. Katherine is also survived by four sisters: Robin Coles, Latisher Carter, Cherie Brown, and Susan Jones, and one brother: Joseph Coles. Katherine is beloved by her many nieces and nephews as well as her church family, coworkers, and friends. Katherine lived her life and showed each of us the blueprint so that we may be able to rejoice together with her in God's resting place one day.
