Kathleen Woodruff

Kathleen Woodruff; was born on May 21, 1937, in Winston Salem North Carolina to Christine and Jack. God called her home on October 30th, 2021. She was one of six sisters. She came to Philadelphia with her mother Christine in 1941, where she attended the Philadelphia public school system. Kathleen was blessed with seven kids. Jeanett, Darlene, Darthera, Linda, Tina, Mark, Lisa. Two sons in law Tee & Terry and one daughter in law Gail Moore. Kathleen had a total of 24 grandkids, 12 great grandkids and 32 great great grandkids. She came to Philadelphia when she met Bennie Woodruff. They got married in 1984, She took very good care of her husband when he got sick. She was such a strong woman, she loved decorating her home. She was very transparent and would always let you know what she like and what she didn’t. She was a very outspoken person. She loved dancing, dressing up and keeping her hair, nails and toes done, she was a diva. Kathleen has gone to join her son Mark and daughter Tina, her husband Bennie, her mother Christine and two of her sister’s. She leaves behind five kids, grand kids, great grandkids, nieces/nephews, cousin’s and three sisters. We will never forget you or the good times and great memories we had with you. You were the best mother, grandma, mother-in-law, aunt, cousin, and sister. Rest in peace mom!
