On May 4, 1979, KaTonya Nasha McCloud was born to Edward Smith & Shirley Ann Wright. KaTonya transitioned into the loving arms of Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on October 30, 2021. KaTonya whole heartedly Loved GOD. KaTonya often fellowshipped with Pastor Smith at Faith Assembly of GOD Church.
KaTonya received her education in the Philadelphia Public School District where she graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School.
KaTonya's love for cooking gained her employment at Fresh Grocers where she worked for several years.
KaTonya had a beautiful smile and greeting that would light up a room.. Her bubbly personality was warm, welcoming and loving. KaTonya's laughter was full of joy and unlike any other, she had many nicknames, Moomie from birth, Lamb by her sister Naimah, Woodee by Cousin Stacey, and K-town by Cousin Kelly shows how much she was admired and loved by her Family.
KaTonya loved to cook for her children. Providing and cooking for her children was the highlight of her life. KaTonya also loved cooking and feeding Family & Friends which was a
testament to her kindness for she had a heart of gold, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, KaTonya was loved by her community. KaTonya was a phenomenal, awesome Mother to her 4 children, beautiful Daughter & Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend to many. KaTonya favorite colors were Red, Black & Pink and she loved the music of Anita Baker. KaTonya will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
KaTonya leaves to cherish in her memories, her Mother Shirley Ann Wright, her Father Edward Smith (Step-Mother Vanessa), 4 children Uminea, Manaya, Makhi and Cen'Seare. 4 Sisters Felicia, Naimah, Nakita, and Jada, 2 Aunts Linda Blue and Jannie Harrison 6 Uncles Emmett, William, Charles, Mitchell, Sherman, Gideon and Hannible, 5 Grand Aunts, 2 Grand Uncles, GODMothers late Rose Davis,and Martha Dawson. GOD Uncle Stacey Dawson 2 GOD Sisters Vanessa & Lisa, Best Friend Cassie Seawood, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
