Kiyon "Cheese" Amire Dorsey-Griffin

Kiyon Amire Dorsey- Griffin, tragically left this cold and Heinous world, abruptly on 03/22/2022. Kiyon was born in Philadelphia pa, in the spring of 2003 on May 2nd, to Lakisha Griffin and Wendell Dorsey. He was the youngest of 8 children. During his short time here with us he was educated in the Philadelphia and Norristown school districts. The mean streets of Philadelphia, made it hard to be a kid and robbed kiyon of his childhood too soon, but never did that downplay his character as a son, nephew, grandson, cousin, or his greatest role of them all, uncle. His 26 nephews and nieces, looked up to and adored him. His presence in their lives WERE felt. Kiyon went by many names but Cheese struck the most, because he ways quick to flash his prefect smile to the Sway things his way. There was nothing he wouldn’t try to take on and had an inability to sit still, always dancing, going somewhere, or cleaning up. You could always count on him to get you what you need or get stuff done! Kiyon’s memory will be kept alive by his mother Lakisha, father Wendell, Grandfathers Ralph and Anthony, Paternal grandmother Debra, Nine brothers Wendell Jr, Kendall, shyhiem, Hykiem, Quayan, Nyseem, Nicolas, Christopher, and Kieth, Three sisters Kierra, Danaysja, Jada, 26 nieces and nephews, and host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Kiyon was proceeded in death by his Maternal grandmother Sandra, she will continue to guide him in heaven for now. Until we meet again, The Family!
