Lorraine Davis

Lorraine “Raine” Davis, daughter of Leroy and Essie Davis was born on September 8, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She departed this life early on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Lorraine received her education in the Philadelphia Public School Systems.

As a young child, Raine liked to visit Washington D.C. every summer with her siblings, and she loved to jump rope (double dutch) and play with her barbie dolls and jacks.

Lorraine was a very delightful woman and to know her was to love her. Lorraine was very helpful and took care of the young and the elderly.  Lorraine worked as a security guard for 25+ years with different companies. At the time of her death, she was employed by Assets Protection, Inc.

Lorraine enjoyed playing the game “Bingo”, begin creative with arts & crafts, reading, and watching her favorite television shows, Law & Order SVU, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago PD, Blackish and spend quality time with her family.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her finance Victor “Jamil” Henderson, her mother Essie Davis, father Leroy Davis Sr, brothers, Anthony & Gregory Watford, Sister, Paula Watford, nephew, Terrel Davis, great niece, Ciani Davis, great nephew Khiseer Davis and brother in-law Anthony “Shakur” Williams.

 Lorraine leaves to cherish her memories, her three children, Karim Davis, Pauletta Davis and Hykeem Davis, (11) grandchildren, J’niya Holmes, Tatianna Davis, Hykeem Davis, Kayson Davis, Tiana Davis, Lorraine Davis, Alexis Davis, Deja Litzenberger, McKayla Davis, Kareem Davis, Dream Davis, (4) sisters, Barbara Askew, Millicent Davis, Jacqueline Williams, Vanessa Hargrove, (2) brothers Cornelius Davis, Leroy Davis Jr, (2) brother in -laws, Michael Hargrove and Johnny Askew and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
