Lugenia L. "Peanut" Bragg

Lugenia Lorretta Bragg-Johnson was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 30, 1985, to the late Wanda Bragg and Tyrone. Lugenia was affectionately called “Peanut”, by all who knew and loved her.

Peanut was educated in the New Jersey and Philadelphia School Districts. She graduated from Triton Regional High School. Peanut loved working in the food and hospitality service industry where she worked at the Marriott, 12th Street Catering and Lower Bucks Hospital until she was no longer able to work.

One of the happiest days of her life was May 18, 2018, the day she married her husband, Charles Johnson III.

Peanut loved having her long coffin nails, but even more than that, her husband and children. She loved to sit at Kelly Drive and to walk on the Wissahickon Walking trail. Peanut loved to go on long car rides with her husband and listen to music. She would walk anywhere if she had her music. Peanut genuinely loved to randomly visit people. At home she enjoyed watching movies and various television shows. Or sitting on the porch with her husband listening to music.  Her outgoing personality will be truly missed by everyone who loved her. Sadly, an obituary does not give enough time or space to really cover all the complexities of a person. Just know Peanut was truly a unique and amazing person.

Peanut leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles Johnson III, three children, Trevone Jamir Bragg, Jada Brianna Bragg, and Charli Nicole Johnson, her siblings, Wadiya Moore, Donique Bragg, and Jasper James Bragg, her mother Gwendolyn Moore, her Mother-in-Law Joanne Ackridge, Sisters-in-Law Dyanne Riley, Monique Riley, and Erica Jones, her best friend Tiffany Chandler, and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends
