Marsha Hope Watson was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 2, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Evelyn Brownlee and Edward Barrick. She departed life on Thursday April 14, 2022.
Marsha was blessed to attend many schools around the world as she traveled as a military kid with her stepfather Nathaniel Brownlee, mother Evelyn, and her siblings. She graduated from Overbrook High School in Philadelphia. After high school, she had several jobs, the longest being at Ford Electronics in Lansdale PA where she worked for 35 years.
In 1968 she married the late Yancy Watson Jr. and from that union they had only child Vickii Nacole Watson.
Marsha also had a found love for children which led her to work at Experience Core where she assisted children with their math and reading for 15 years. She loved traveling dining out and hosting New Year's Day dinner for many years.
She dedicated her life to Christ and was a devoted member of triumph Baptist Church in Philadelphia PA participating in the usher board and as a Sunday school teacher.
Preceding her in death is her husband Yancy her parents Evelyn and Edward, stepfather Nathaniel, sisters Karen, Bonnie and Denise, brother Phillip, and grandson Naheim.
Marshall leaves to mourn her memory her daughter Vicky Costanzo, grandson Jasir Watson- Williams, special bonus children Marcus Johnson and Jessica Williams, sisters (special sister) Diane Murray, Brenda Johnson, Michelle (James) Dunlap, sister-in-law Doris Watson- Latimore, brother Michael (Joyce) Brownlee, and Nathaniel (Shonda) Brownlee. Uncle Warren (Carol) Barrick. Godchildren Sherita Latimore Collier, Tiffany Brownlee, Crystal Bacon and Aaron Matthews as well as a host of loving nieces nephews relatives and friends who will cherish her dearly.
