Naomi Carmella Morris, daughter of the late William Morris, Jr and Juanita Maria Morris was born on December 17, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended and was educated at Our Lady of Victory Catholic school and graduated from The Franklin Learning Center where she earned her High School credentials. Nay, as she was called by many showed her love for math and art early on. She helped her younger siblings with their homework, listed to the oldies and adored the sounds of Motown. Anyone and everyone who knew her knows Nay loved her music and watching the Eagles football games. Later, Nay entered a drawing contest from the Philadelphia Daily News and won! Such a proud moment. After graduation, Naomi served in the United States Armed Forces where she earned the rank of Sergeant. During her service, Nay lived all over the world and returned to her hometown of Philadelphia close to her family.
Naomi leaves to cherish in her memory Four (4) beautiful children, Carmen, Juanita, Anthony and David, Jr.; five (5) sisters, Anne, Yvonne, Lisa (deceased), Kim and Angie; five (5) brothers, William, Cecil, Gary (deceased), Tommy and Chris; one (1) son in law; three (3) bother-in-laws, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, over 100 nieces and nephews, and a grand host of close loving friends.
The Family would like to thank you all for your love and support during this time of grief for our Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother.
