Paul R. Blassingame

Paul Ricardo Blassingame was the oldest of four children born in Philadelphia to Paul and Bernice Blassingame on August 14, 1952.

‘Rick’ or ‘Ricky’, as he was affectionately known, graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1969 and later, honorably served his county in the US Army. Rick married Sharon Haywood of West Philadelphia in January 1973. Their union produced the two people Rick loved more than anything, his daughters. He is survived by his two children, Heather Blassingame of Drexel Hill, PA and Shawn Blassingame Roberts of Sugar Hill, GA, his two sisters Carol Blassingame Brown and Veda Blassingame Philmore of Alexandria, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
