Reverend James W. Lomax

Reverand James William Lomax was born September 17th 1937 to the late James Lomax and Amanda Hoye. James was the youngest of 5 children.

James worked various jobs and even spent a little time in armed forces. He loved to go fishing, watch race car sports, and preaching and teaching gods holy word. James was ordained in the ministry in 1994, later joined the Macedonia freewill Baptist church where he served as associate minister and Sunday school superintendent for many years.

On April 5th 2021 God called James from labor to reward. He was the last surviving child of of his brother's and sister.

James leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Patricia R. Lomax, three step sons the river brother's, the Kelly family 5 daughters & 1 son, 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter, 3 brother's and 1 sister in-law in North Carolina, 1 daughter in-law, a host of relatives & friends.
