Rhonda Shemayne Ward was born on November 17, 1964, in Philadelphia Pa to Roslyn B. Ward and Robert Eugene Ward. Rhonda was educated in the Philadelphia public school system. Rhonda graduated from Simon Gratz high school. After that graduation, she attended a Tailoring school. Rhonda was always interested in style and fashion. She liked bright colors, fashionable sunglasses and lots of jewelry. If she stepped out, she was decked out. Everything she wore had to be color coordinated.
Although Rhonda faced her demons at times, she managed to fight on to overcome the threat. She was a fun, loving and caring person. She loved to cook soul food and make fruit salads. Rhonda was very good of doing both. Her macaroni and cheese was her specialty. She was an excellent cook.
Rhonda was a loving good-hearted person, but if you challenged her point of view, you better be prepared for a stern and blunt response. Rhonda had two grandchildren that were the love of her life. Syir and Ayah, they were her heart throbs and she showered them with all her love and affection. Rhonda worked at the former Quartermaster Depot as a seamstress and also was employed at an Au-bon-pain bakery and two eateries.
She leaves to cherish her memory; Her mother Roslyn Ward Three children, Donte (Tiffany), Ciara and Ayanna Two grandchildren Syir and Ayah (Mother Erica) Seven Siblings Robert (Nicola), Sophia Knight, Rosheal (dec'd), Sean (dec'd), Phil, Natasha and Robert E.
