On November 21, 2012 Saamir Jackson-Berryhill was born to Nadirah Jackson and James Berryhill in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Saamir attended First Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School from first to fourth grade. During his time at the school Saamir captured the hearts of many of the staff. Saamir was such a playful child, he loved to sing and dance, and had dreams of becoming an actor. Saamir was also a brave child, at amusement parks he would always want to get on the tallest rides. He also made friends wherever he went. Saamir would make his own songs and beats, loved school and was such a unique child. Anyone who knew Saamir has had a memorable encounter with him because he was definitely one to remember.
Saamir leaves behind his biological parents, Nadirah Jackson and James Berryhill, biological siblings Taige Berryhill (age 7), Nikya Jackson (age 5), and Niyke Jackson (age 14). He also leaves to cherish his memory, Ms. Daquetta Jordan who he became to know as “mom” his siblings Armani Williams-Jordan, Amir Glover, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Saamir wouldn’t want anyone to be sad today because God has called one of his angels home. We will always love and miss him.
