Stephen Dancy Obituary

“BLESSED QRE THE PURE IN HEART, FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD”

MATTHEW 5:8

STEPHEN LeVERNE DANCY (STEVIE)  as he was affectionately called, was born November 1, 1963 to the Late Reginald Levy Marshall and Johnnie Mae Dancy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

STEVIE loved his grandmother, the Late Dolores Mae James. Stevie would call her faithfully to say Hi!  Granny looked forward  to those calls, and the time spent with family for the Holidys.

STEVIE, was educated  in the  Philadelphia School System and had aspirations of becoming a Clothing Designer.. However his dreams were cot shore with as unfortunate accident at the tender age of 18.  STEVIE laid in a coma for many days but GOD sent His Angel of Mercy letting us know that he shall not die but was asleep.

STEVIE spent all his adult life approximately 40 years at the Centennial Nursing Home.  We thank GOD for the love and nurturing the staff afforded him.

STEVIE enjoyed attending church services and we knew he loved Jesus “if thou shall confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS and believe in thine heart….thou shall be SAVED!” (Matthew 10:4

Living to see him again are his aunts, Janice and  K. Denice, cousins Ronald (Sherri), Marquay, Robyn (James), Janita, Chante and Justin (Shawon); 2nd Cousins Barbara,        Winifred, Joyce, Diana and Rene, Centennial Nursing Home staff and host other cousins, relatives and  friends.

Lovingly submitted
